Kurage- The Floating Jellyfish by Jo Nagasaka
I like the idea the Jellyfish floating in your room ( kurage means jellyfish in Japanese). Kurage is composed of optical fiber. By bending the optical fiber, the whole area is illuminated outside of the immediate area of the light, and together, they can make very soft light. The brightness can be adjusted by the size of the curve.

Designed by Jo Nagasaka of Schemata Architecture office, currently there are four version of the kurage fiber optics light . Each kurage is hand-made, so each one will be slightly different but enough to make a strong statement in the room its shine.
