Savanna Walkers by Lucas Ainsworth
Lucas Ainsworth, a industrial design student at CCA in San Francisco, has designed a set of cardboard animal toy titled Savanna Walkers.
This design takes a complex mechanism and makes it accessible through a charismatic and easy to assemble cardboard toy. The result is an educational, affordable, and environmentally conscious product. In minutes, a complex mechanical friend is folded using only tabs, slots, and tension joints.

These DIY toy comes as a puzzle/kit and assembles without glue or adhesive in about 30 minutes. By turning an internal crank or external winder, each animal walks and moves it's head in a organic and realistic gait.
