Lindsay Perkins has created a set of sustainable packaging for organic products, which underline their simplicity and pure taste. The concept was inspired by a small farm in rural Maine.
The idea was to create sustainable and simple label packaging for a broad range of organic food. For example, almost all products employ the same packaging paper that have all the product names on it. The producer just need to highlight or circle the particular product name to identify it. The paper used for the menu is 100% recycled and biodegradable, being made of grass seeds. It can “grow” on the over sometime and give life to new plants, which could feed other vegetarian animals. The label-free milk jugs have all information about the product printed on the glass, and can be refilled and reused with fresh product.
