lula dog bowl

Designed by Miriam Mirri, this adorable Lula dog bowl is to complement the Tigrito Cat Bowl she designed in 2005 and gives mans best friend his own designer bowl.

Lula features an easy pick up handle and a removable lid featuring 'Lula' the dog character, who looks distinctly like Snoopy & always give a guilty look at his master. The mountain top has the double task of protecting the food and preventing "Lula" from eating all day. A stainless steel bowl sits inside, under the lid, which can be removed for easy washing.

Clay Furniture

Designed by Maarten Baas, Clay Furniture address the issue of form-giving in industrial design, revealing, literally, the designer's 'hand' in this intimate process, today normally concealed through the use of a computer.

Made of synthetic Clay, with a metal “skeleton” inside to reinforce the structure, all Clay Furniture are modeled by hand. No moulds are used in the production, making each piece unique. The eight standard colors of the Clay series, are black, white, brown, red, yellow, blue, orange and green.

Reflections by Julie Tremblay

Reflections are Julie Tremblay's exhibition of 10 life-size figurative works that are hand-sculpted (in the manner of clay sculpting) from cast-off industrial sheet metal. As a collective, the sculptures form an installation, with some pieces floating below the ceiling, some suspended from walls and some free-standing on the floor. The title of the show refers simultaneously to the visual effect of the materials used (alone and in relation to the environment in which the figures are presented), to the mental life of the figures, and to the artist’s musings about the porosity of human existence in the increasingly “desacralized” world in which we find ourselves today.

Edward Robinson

The SPUN Stool is the result of process meets industrial craft. Working with a craftsman with 40 years experience in his studio in Birmingham, designer Edward Robinson was able to gain an invaluable insight into the possibilities offered by this traditional skill.

The resulting form is simple and SPUN uses the process for all its strength and joining the two sections together with no other need of fixing.

Especially heart the aluminum finishes.

East Meets West Wall Clock

Designed for Oct Art & Design Museum, the East Meets West Wall Clock by Kitmen brings together centuries of culture and tradition, with Chinese and Western zodiacs' signs to create a side-by-side clock interface that produces a visually stimulating picture of East-Meets-West.

An element of visual trickery , the left clock features symbols of the Chinese zodiac depicting time in the East while the symbols from the zodiac on the right presenting the time in the West. Up-close, each Zodiac symbol is clearly visible, moving further away the image begins to transform from zodiac symbols to classically intricate picture of decorative motifs.

Odin Chair by Jamie McLellan

The Odin chair was created by New Zealander Jamie McLellan for the luxury living spaces of Odin Residences in Niseko Japan. The brief for the Odin chair was to draw from the natural beauty of Hokkaido and fuse the simplicity of Scandinavian inspirations with the aesthetic sensitivity of Japanese culture.

Minimalist in aspect, yet substantial in spirit and construction, designer Jamie McLellan has favored pure and essential silhouettes, an honest and intelligent use of materials that create a warm, almost calming...dare we say ‘zen’-like experience?
