Love the illustration created by Chris Trivizas for Inside Norway in promoting Norwegian furniture design at the 2009 IMM furniture fair in Cologne. Since most Norwegian furniture producers are located on the west coast where apple trees are plentiful and since wood still holds a central role in furniture production. Chris Trivizas did a series of illustrations accompanied by a text about the evolution of the apple from flower to apple jam. The work consisted of silkscreen on white handkerchiefs which could easily be tied to the trees as flowers and which visitors hopefully would keep.

The illustration also won a Silver at Visuelt 09, Norways largest competition for visual communication. According to the jury: The illustration is a refreshing and unpretentious solution. A simple story told with few means, which works well within the concept.
