Dutch design firm Oooms is at it again. Aside from their wooden USB flashdrives, gold-plated staples, and wine glass light bulbs, this has got to be the strangest of their creations. Still kinda cool, no?
The Road Kill carpet is a continues struggle between attraction and repulsion. It’s a warm, soft, cuddly carpet that attracts you to take a nap on it. But at the same time its a repulsive image of a car-flattened, bloody fox.

Has you ever saw a moon so close that you could touch it? Russian artists Leonid Tishkov have created a series of artwork titled “Private Moon”, where he give life to a man and his moon.
“Private Moon” is a visual poem, telling a story about a man who found the Moon and stayed with her for the rest of his life.
“Private Moon” is a visual poem, telling a story about a man who found the Moon and stayed with her for the rest of his life.
In the upper world, in the attic of his house, he saw the Moon which had fallen from the sky. At first she was hiding from the sun in a dark, damp tunnel and was constantly frightened by the passing trains. Then she came to the house of the man.
Wrapping the moon in a thick blanket, he gives her autumn apples and drinks tea with her. When she finally recovers he puts her on a boat and carries her across a dark river to a high bank, where moon pine-trees grow.
He descends to the lower world wearing the clothes of his deceased father and then returns, illuminating the way with his private moon.
Transcending the borders between worlds via narrow bridges, sinking into sleep, taking care of the heavenly body, man turns into a mythological being living in the real world like in a fantastic fairy-tale.

Kabbalah is the newest brand of Russian Vodka created by beverage maker EZ Protocols. Called “Kabbalah vodka – with Christian infants”, the vodka bottle features a unique handmade infant inside, which is made of fortified glass. This plays off the old wives tale circulated in Europe that Jewish religious rites required the blood of Christian babies.
An advertising campaign was launched with the distribution of nameless club cards and with clandestine presales at Internet-auctions. Just for a first day of sells, the vodka has managed to sell out more than 13,000 5-litre cases which is considered as an all-time record for a new brand.

“Corrugated Art” is the celebration of the unique properties of a highly visible manufactured product for which it was not purportedly intended. Striving to artistically focus by highlighting those aesthetically characteristic qualities which otherwise would be unknowingly ignored- Mark Langan.
Corrugated art, is how Mark Langan refers to it. Using entirely reclaimed corrugated boxes from his trash and neighborhood, Mark Langan transformed the everyday material into something other than its original intended purpose…aesthetically beautiful three-dimensional art. Armed only with a razor blade, a cutting edge, a mat and some non toxic glue, each artwork is created by layering sheets of corrugated into aesthetically pleasing patterns. The corrugated lends itself well to patterns, when viewed from different angles and lighting, the piece changes.
The end result is not only intriguingly intricate because of its corrugated composition, it also helps inspire people to…reduce, reuse and recycle!
